Misinformation can be dangerous - here are additional sources you can trust to give you accurate information about COVID-19.

1. Tacoma Pierce County Health Department

The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department updates their primary COVID-19 page every at 2 p.m. with the latest numbers of positive cases in Pierce County.

The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department also has pages with information for schools, businesses, healthcare providers and human services providers. Each of those pages offers more FAQs tailored to specific groups.

2. Washington State Coronavirus Support

This is Washington State’s official COVID-19 site maintained by the state Joint Information Center. The Joint Information Center is part of the Washington State Emergency Operations Center, operated out of Camp Murray, which has a unified command including the state Department of Health, the Washington Department of Social and Health Services and the Washington Emergency Management Division.

This site provides links to latest information from trusted sources on COVID-19, including county-level updates, and resources for families, businesses, students, and more.

3. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

The CDC is the Nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health. They have numerous tips and Covid-19 guides for individuals, businesses and more.
