Getting tested for COVID-19 is important for slowing the spread of it in the community. However, some might be wondering: When is the right time to get tested? Where should you go? And how exactly is the test performed anyway?
The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department recommends that people should get tested for COVID-19 if:
• They have symptoms of COVID-19
• Have been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19.
• Could not maintain safe physical distance from others after a gathering.
You can get tested for COVID-19 by making an appointment with your healthcare provider or visiting a mobile testing event. Click here for a list of Mobile testing events in Pierce County.
