With Thanksgiving fast approaching, now more than ever we need to social distance - but also find innovative ways to remain socially connected.
For some, that means video conferencing with family or friends during the holidays. If you're interested in this option, this Thanksgiving, Zoom is dropping their 40 minute limit on free calls globally from Thursday through Friday.
For others, remaining socially connected means giving a loved one a call or text.
If you do gather:
- Keep gatherings to 5 or fewer people you don't live with. - Stay 6 feet away from people you don't live with. - Mask up and wash or sanitize hands frequently.
Do not host or go to gatherings if you or someone you live with: - Tests positive for COVID-19. - Has COVID-19 symptoms. - Is waiting for COVID-19 test results. - Was near someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. - Has a higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
